i think i just killed my iPhone.. :(

so.. i can’t believe this just happened to me.. but anyways.. here’s what happened..
i plugged in my iPhone to the pc with the cable to sync and windows gave me an unrecognized USB device popup.. which was strange.. i tried to reconnect a couple of times but nothing helped.. then i noticed drops of water on the connector and immediately removed the cable from the pc and the iPhone..
but i guess the damage is done.. cleaned and dried both the connector and the iPhone port with tissue paper but phone doesn’t detect the charger anymore.. all it says is “this accessory is not made to work with iPhone”.. which sounds really really baaaad….
i don’t even have another cable to try with.. will pick one up from a friend in a whle.. i so hope it’s the cable that’s fried and not the iPhone..
OMG i’m so screwed…. 
UPDATE: well the phone lives again.. it never was dead actually.. i borrowed an iPod cable from a friend and the iPhone is charging right now.. i can concentrate on finishing that keyboard theme now..

I had a similar near death experience at Disneyland yesterday, didnt remember that I had my phone in my pocket and it got SOAKED, got the same accessory is not made for this phone error, but apparently the 3G is “really” waterproof because all i had to do was let it dry for a few minutes and it worked like a charm
